Back to Blythewood

Ok so unlike the title says, I have not gone back to Blythewood. It just sounded cool and I am right across the street so I figured I would make that the title of my email.

So I am now District Leader over the Windsor Lake District, which is basically Blythewood 2.0. That’s ok though, because I really like this ward! I think that I will have a lot of fun here. My new comp is Elder C., from somewhere in Utah Valley. He has been out as long as I have so we were in the MTC at the same time. He’s pretty cool and we have fun together.

I am pretty sad to leave Greenville though. I really enjoyed my time there and I was not expecting to leave this transfer.

Anyway, a lot of crazy stuff happened this week. Probably the biggest thing was the mission being visited by Elder Gary E. Stevenson, Elder L. Whitney Clayton, and Elder McArthur of the Seventy. That was a really awesome meeting. We all got to gather as a mission and hear words and council from these men. Let me say that just being around these guys makes you feel great inside. There is definitely something special about them. It was especially cool to meet Elder Stevenson. He is an amazing man and I was amazed by just how real he is as a person.

It was also really cool to see all of the missionaries from around the mission. There were a lot of familiar faces that I have not gotten to see in a long time.

Wednesday was transfer meeting, so I got to see a lot of people there as well. For some reason I just already knew that I was going to Windsor Lake before I even got there. I just felt like that was where I was going next. I asked one of the AP’s if I was going to Windsor Lake and he said yes and asked how I found out. I just told him that I felt like I was going to be going there next and I guess I was right.

So Windsor Lake is a bike area. Yay. I am so happy about that.

It has been VERY cold lately, and biking in this does not make things any better. This morning it was like 17 degrees outside and man the humidity makes it terrible.

Anyway, that’s all I have to talk about today. I am not very focused right now so I apologize for the shortness and vagueness of this email. I will talk to you all next week!
